GPODS
New York Climate Week Fall 2022
Call for Innovation in Traditional Climate Governance
Date: September 24, 2022 Time: 8 AM ET to 1 PM ET

GPODS will be at the New York Climate Week.
Event Summary:
The traditional Climate Governance mechanisms have not turned out to be as successful as one would have hoped. Climate Policy continues to struggle to find a consistent push, or definition, across the globe. What are the basic reforms that are needed to relook at international climate policy? How does climate finance play a role in this transition? How does Global South adapt at the same pace as the Global North? These are some of the many questions that the event seeks to answer.

Event Description:
Some of the leading experts in climate policy get together for a 75-minute session to answer questions such as What are the basic reforms that are needed to relook at international climate policy? How does climate finance play a role in this transition? How does Global South adapt at the same pace as the Global North?
After this, young leaders in the form of GPODS Fellows take the stage to talk about the role of youth and the opportunities and obstacles in transforming international climate policy into everyday policy for each citizen.
